Wilderness Workshop:
Route planning, obtaining permits, and backcountry manners
May 13th, 2017
trip overview
Want to learn some of the basics of the wilderness? Attend our workshop for some fun, learning, snacks, and prizes! This clinic will cover route planning, how to obtain permits, and backcountry manners (yes, believe it or not, the wilderness has it's own set of manners!) We will give out information, handle the snacks, give out info packets, you'll have the opportunity to win some prizes, and we will do a short hike! Come and join us for some fun and learning!
Level of activity
Haven't hiked in a very long time? This is for you. Been hiking a lot but don't know much about backpacking? This is for you. Have a family who has been insanely busy and not seeing much of each other? This is for you. Basically, the level of activity here means we are including everyone! We will be doing some activity, but nothing to break more than a little bit of sweat.
